BELL · Nº 001 · Privacy Policy · Effective 15 July 2026
PRIVACY POLICY
The short version: BELL collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no ads,
no tracking, no server. The app makes no network calls of its own.
Data that stays on your device
- Workout sessions (rounds, durations, heart-rate summaries) are stored locally on your iPhone and never leave it.
- Heart rate is read live over Bluetooth from a sensor you connect (e.g. a WHOOP in broadcast mode or a chest strap). Samples are shown on the gauge, summarized into your local session log, and optionally burned into videos you record. We never receive them.
- Broadcast videos are recorded, composed, and saved entirely on-device — to your Photos library only when you tap Save, or shared only where you choose to share them.
- Settings (presets, skin, reminder time) are stored locally.
Permissions BELL asks for, and why
- Bluetooth — to receive heart-rate data from your sensor.
- Camera & microphone — only for Broadcast mode recordings you start.
- Photos (add-only) — to save finished videos to your camera roll. BELL cannot read your library.
- Notifications — for the daily quote and system round-bell alarms you enable.
Every permission is optional; the timer works without any of them.
Purchases
BELL PRO purchases are processed by Apple. We receive no payment details. Manage or cancel
subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
Children
BELL does not knowingly collect data from anyone — including children — because it collects no data.
Changes
If a future version ever changes this (for example, optional sync), this policy and the app's
App Store privacy label will be updated first.
